The Thermal Analysis Kit (TAK) 2000 is an engineering application used to model and predict the thermal performance of virtually any thermal system. It has been used to model spacecraft, oil pipeline buried in the arctic tundra, electronic circuit boards and boxes, ovens, cryostats, and telescopes. The TAK 2000 is a fully double precision application that uses a finite differencing approach to thermal modeling and analysis. Modeling approach is similar to that used by NASA's SINDA-85.

PCAnalyze will calculate the temperature of the board and its individual components, using its integrated steady state and transient solver. Once temperatures have been calculated, a color contour temperature map of the circuit can be displayed, printed, or copied to the clipboard. Numerous text reports can be automatically generated, ranging in complexity from simple component summaries to detailed network maps of the entire model.
