Mixing Principle
Heat transfer to high-viscous products
A static mixer causes a continuous rearrangement of the product flow. Boundary layers close to the wall are renewed efficiently, thus heat transfer is significantly enhanced. Therefore the residence time in the heat exchanger can be reduced and small temperature gradients can be applied. Local overheating is prevented.
