Maleic anhydride is obtained by catalytic oxidation of n-butane. The static mixer SMV™ facilitates this reaction by providing a homogeneous mixture between n-butane and the air stream.
The static mixer equalizes reliably the concentration and the temperature profiles of the mixed gas streams to provide uniform gas mixture within short distance and suppress side reactions. | |
