Safety

Sulzer Tower Field Service is justifiably proud of its safety program. Management commitment and employee involvement, the hallmarks of the program, have produced an enviable safety record.

This record is reflected in safety statistics derived in the USA from our OSHA 300 Log and the experience modifier data provided by our Worker's Compensation insurance carrier; and in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia from our OHSAS18001 safety management system.

The true test of the program is our customers satisfaction with our safety performance while on the job. The repeat business we receive from regular customer is our greatest reward.

Tower Field Service conducts a series of safety training programs, which demonstrates management's commitment to provide customers with a knowledgeable work force capable of working safely and efficiently in any situation.

This commitment begins when the employee is hired and continues throughout his employment. Sulzer Tower Field Service is leading the way in computer based training for tower & vessel work. Formal training starts with an orientation for newly hired employees. Classroom refresher training is provided at least annually to all employees. Training in specialized skills, such as forklift operator training, is provided on a periodic or as needed basis, to qualified individuals.

Tower Field Service insures compliance with a customers training requirements utilizing a proprietary single page personnel form. This tracks training records, dates, along with the individuals work history & performance.
