The Sulzer Mix Tip was developed to correct irregularities such as color streaks, poor regrind incorporations and uneven temperature distribution in plastic melts. It fits injection molding machines up to 150 tons and is available for the most common machines. The Mix Tip is very easy to install by simply replacing the nozzle tip. The mixer is brazed into the nozzle tip and therefore non-removable.

For more demanding mixing tasks a version with 6 mixing elements is available. Mix Tip 10/6 and 12/6 are equipped with electrical heating, which will be connected in parallel to the existing nozzle heating.
