The mixer features very efficient mixing over the whole duct cross section. At the same time, the new patented wing design results in very low pressure drops. 

The mixer is ideal for

• homogenization of gas mixtures
• admixing of additives into a main stream
• homogenization of temperature differences
• dispersing and evaporation of droplets in hot gas streams

The Sulzer Contour mixer can be installed in rectangular or round ducts up to very large size. Depending on the application and the specific requirements, the wings can be arranged co-rotationally or counter-rotationally. The low weight allows for cost-efficient production and easy installation on site.
