Optifoam is the most simple physical foaming solution to implement. None or only minor modifications of the existing machine equipment are necessary. It is available for foam extrusion applications.
Foam extrusion with Optifoam™
Optifoam™ is a highly versatile solution for foam applications in the plastics industry. As a modular system for foam extrusion Optifoam™ is designed to produce physical foamed products by the use of conventional extrusion lines. Optifoam™ is a retrofit system and will be adapted to the requirements of the customers machine and process conditions.

Payback calculation

When opening the file you will find 2 different spreadsheets: the first one applies if you want to change your production from solid to foam. The second spreadsheet applies if you want to substitute chemical foaming with Optifoam.
