Besides the Sulzer Melt blender SMB-R, which is our standard product for extrusion, the SSM-X type is still a much demanded product for several extrusion applications.
The Sulzer Melt Blender SSM-X generally consists of 4 to 6 mixing elements, which homogenize the polymer melt in a radial direction. The degree of mixing is increased by a factor of 5 to 12.
