The mixing structure of Polyguard results in an optimized flow behaviour with a narrow residence time distribution at a low shear force level. This enables sufficient level of mixing to be achieved at lowest possible pressure drop.
Polyguard homogenizes the melt and minimizes flow lines. The temperature distribution is equalized over the cross section. Most importantly, Polyguard eliminates minor color problems.

Polyguard is currently available with a flow channel diameter of 40 mm. This diameter is a stock item and can be delivered at a short notice.
Larger diameters are currently under development and will be introduced subject to confirmation of successful tests.
