Gold Medal for MellapakPlus

Sulzer Chemtech Polska exhibited for the first time at the Poznan International Fair of Industrial Technology and Investment Goods in June this year. As many as 1500 exhibitors from 35 countries have presented their offerings over an area of 27500 square meters. The exhibition is the most important and prestigious event in its class in Poland and was opened by the President of Poland in the presence of a number of government officials and industrial dignitaries.

The booth of Sulzer Chemtech Polska featured a model of a column cross-section showing an arrangement of different types of column packings, internals and trays. They gave the visitors and customers a general idea of Chemtech's activity. The visitors also had a possibility to see and inspect all types of packings and mixers. The exhibition staff was there to welcome customers and address the issues and projects they brought along.

A special place of the Sulzer booth was dedicated to Mellapak Plus to expose its unique structure and process advantages. This was important since MellapakPlus was entered as a candidate for the Gold Medal competition, traditionally organized by the Poznan International Fair since 1979 for the best product exhibited.

The jury chaired by Prof. Boleslaw Wojcieckowicz of Poznan University of Technology announced a list of twelve Gold Medal winners. The top of the list, the winner number 1, was MellapakPlus.

This award was a great pleasure for Chemtech Polska and indeed for the whole Chemtech family.
